So how can u add romans to ranked play pvp and now 5 new Chinese civs but u cant add any of the greek civs to ranked play factions??? Its obsurd n ridiculous it would be sick to play as the greeks to in ranked play!!! Can any of aoe team tell me why its not possible to allow that???

Because the Greek Civs were never intended for serious multiplayer games so they had more freedom on how to design them.

Well why make a civilization u cant use in ranked play . Not worth buying dlc if ranked play doesnt have tbe dlc civs
Total War does it constantly. It allows to represent other settings without the need of designing a new game

u forget something, this is still a game. Of course I don’t expect everything to be realistic on a gameplay basis, that would be ridiculous.
- There are more than enough people who care about the setting of the game. Including me. When I play a medieval game, I don’t expect ancient era stuff. For that, there’s AOE1, or even better, the Chronicles DLC format.

Ya sum take gamen to serious im not agianst aoe 2 ever gr8 game closest to total war. But elphants balista khmer overally strong in 2008 i played with koreans war wagon weak now but greeks n egyptians are close enuff in time then 1950 n the add guns n modern warfae thatd suck but bring greeks n egyptians n if u own those 2 dlcs u get them 4 ranked play
Sad how u need a degree when gamers like me could put gamen at another higher level… no degrees i got tho n i suck at drawing
peroid is one thing but more important, their civs are wildly different. There units have all reskins and many different units, more than just a regional unit. Especially for the water play.
