Does Chinese civilization need to be redone to keep it playable?

I think that now China tends to turn into an ordinary civilization with a better economy, Chinese civilization still has a lot of problems to be solved in the new patch. First of all, the three main labels of Chinese civilization are gunpowder, dynasty and tax. We find that gunpowder as China’s label has not brought good gains to China, on the one hand the nerf of siege weapons makes the astronomical clock tower not as useful as a siege weapon factory supervised by an officer (does it make sense to have an extra siege weapon factory that basically doesn’t change much for 1800 resources?). And the nest of bees, the specialty unit that came with the gunpowder tag, now has far less dps than the mongoles in the Castle Age and Imperial Age. Then there’s the chemistry tech given by the Chinese civilization, and I don’t think there’s any justification for the chemistry revamp. Because the revamp of chemistry makes the musketeers which could be used directly become required to build a university and learn serpentine to be able to use them, and the chemistry tech given away doesn’t really improve anything, no one will use expensive gunpowder units to destroy buildings. Irrationality also includes the comparison between cavalry and musketeers. Cavalry have 10 percent more health than before, but musketeers, which are the endgame, have less of the bonus provided by the old chemistry. This makes the strength of archers that get the cavalry and archer university tech bonuses unbalanced, such as the camel archer, who as a unit that doesn’t cost gold can be really devastating in late game battle damage exchanges.
The reason the dynasty as yet another Chinese label is now also hard to see used flexibly is that the weakening of agricultural technology has made it so that China needs about 60 peasants to keep up with its military expenditures. It’s hard to have the extra resources to build landmarks to change dynasties now.
The tax nerf is a general nerf, and all civilizations with extra gold get a nerf. But is it possible that the gold on the map right now simply can’t sustain the high quality armies and expensive university tech of the Emperors, and that it’s the duel between archers and crossbowmen in primarily the Emperors’age that’s leading to the extra gold being very strong?
The above is an analysis of the changes in China’s three labels. We can find that this update makes the three labels of China very clownish. China doesn’t look like China at all now, he is a civilization with no civilization that uses officials to improve its economy.
In addition to the nerfs regarding tags, there are also nerfs regarding infantry civilizations that also affect China, and I don’t need to add examples of these, as the fact that China is now more likely to use general purpose archers and cavalry instead of palace guards and musketeers already speaks for itself.
Some might say that China is still strong in high level matchups. I’d like to refute your argument in three ways; China, as a civilization that requires complex maneuvers to use, has been at the bottom of the win rate in segments below Conqueror III, and is only fourth in Conqueror IV, which suggests that even when played China’s cap can’t be gained sufficiently, which doesn’t match up with its difficult special effects. Then there’s the fact that a civilization can be featured even though it’s weak, but you ask players who primarily play China about the playability of this version of China, and sure enough, the answer is the boring .
The last thing I would like to say is that Chinese civilization is now sick, as the civilization with the most unique units, now doesn’t use almost all unique units. The civilization that used to have the strongest late game ability now has a much lower win rate in the empire era, and now China can only resolve battles in the castle era, otherwise it has no advantage in the empire era.
China can become weak and hard, but what I can’t accept is becoming boring!

China is 1 of the best civs in the game, there’s nothing weak about it. They have the best anti-ranged siege in the game, very fast and very tanky palace guards, crazy range HC and an incredible eco.
