# Does this mean there won’t be another new civilization?

Well, the message says there will be Vikings, but it doesn’t say there won’t be anything else.

Something similar happened with Yu Fei Legacy; they initially promised only a campaign, and then gave us another civilization, Jin Dinasty

On the other hand, they promised a Crucible level with Vikings, **AND a 2nd main civ with them** , so I’m hoping for that.

Since 2025, every new civilization has been released with some historical single-player content (Art of War, Crucible, Campaign), and I feel that the developers are putting more effort into giving the civilization a good historical representation, because they consider real scenarios where these civilizations fought, which is great.
