Theres a balance server for the changes. Its almost all of them 1 vs 1. Changes have been made to adress issues in team games, but are rare and far between. Winter reduction and bronce not affecting allies are some of them to name a few.
Yeah, and when theres competition you will find people that are gonna prepare for it, hence team play.
I’m not talking about 3 players’ ability to end a player early on with various tactics. That’s obviously possible if 3 go for one who can’t handle it and has rubbish team mates.
I’m talking about the specific example of destroying one player early on via a brute force attack on his base. It is for this reason that TC and buildings have whatever HP they have.. or whatever attack they have. Otherwise a TC may as well have 1 HP and 0 attack. The TC acts as a strong, safe place. That’s just a key aspect of the game. It’s supposed to provide a certain amount of support.
Even if theres not rubish teamates you can do quite the damage if they dont react properly. Its harder to defend than to attack.
For that very niche interaction and time window, sure. But then again your solution doesnt solve the issue. The same thing will happen in 3 vs 1, will simply take longer but its still very viable. As long as that 4 th player isnt a rock you can very well either tag him alone or let him raid or boom.
It might decrease slightly the chance of sucess but the niche method isnt going away, and even then theres better ways to play it, as i mentioned above
Premade teams shouldn’t be allowed in ranked because they are a waste of time for everyone!! Imagine that you, as a random player with a 1300 Elo , face a low-level premade team with an 800 Elo. Two things could happen:
Option 1: You win easily and don’t gain any Elo points because the premade team you face does not have the Elo to compensate for your victory. (Waste of time)
Option 2: You lose against a premade team of troll players who rush you 3 vs 1 and you end up losing more than 30 Elo points because your opponents have a low Elo points .
For this reason, it is impossible to climb the Elo ladder as a random player; the same thing always happens. Premade teams are an obstacle for all random players and are a waste of time for everyone. Wouldn’t it be better if the best players faced each other in completely random teams and could demonstrate if they really have the level to be in the top ranked positions? The current level of ranked team is a complete lie as long as premade teams exist.
You are acting as if they were 3 random 800s you wouldnt win just as easily.
Well if you are loosing to the “coordinated” effort of 3 800s something else clearly went wrong. Eeither you are not really your raiting or your allies arent either.
Nah, this is false. Theres people that soloed to 1700s. Its ofc harder to do it solo but to blame it on something else for your shortcomings of getting above low elo is just excusing yourself.
If you find it so easy to climb to 1700 ELO with random teams, then why don’t you lead by example and prove it, or are you afraid? You only play with a premade team; I’ve never seen you on random teams. Do you know why? Because you know that without your premade team, you are incapable of climbing ELO in team rankeds. Not even your clanmates dare to play in random teams because they know it’s impossible to climb without a premade team.
Didnt say it was easy. In fact im pretty sure i mentioned it was harder. Its brain dead easy to get to 1400 in tgs solo. After that the climb gets more grindy since the elo gained from your average random guy becomes quite low but its for sure doable. As i said, theres players that did it. I didnt say i did it.

Nah, im fully capable. Its Just a grind. Same reason i dont farm people on 4 vs 4 either with a premade team. Team elo is not something to take seriously when you have the option to play 3 different modes which are vastly different in the difficulty of players you will encounter.
Thats false, many if them do play random on ladder.
