Downloaded mods doesn't install correctly

  • OS: Windows 10

:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Mods I download doesn’t install/download correctly. Mod folders only contains the info.json file. I have tried to reinstall the mods many times but the result didn’t change. This includes official Winter Wonderland mod too which makes me unable to complete the challenges.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Download a mod through in game mods manager (Winter Wonderland for example)
  2. Check the directory of the mod

:arrow_forward: EXPECTED RESULT

Mod files would be present in the directory and mod would function

:arrow_forward: ACTUAL RESULT

There is no file for the mod except the info.json

Update: I found out that issue is related to the Turkish characters in my Windows user name. Subscribed mods gets installed in wrong user folder:


Below one is the correct folder that contains my AOE3DE settings and stuff. Upper one is where mods gets installed. Manually moving mod files from one to other is a workaround for the issue.
