Making elevation is something that adds alot of depth and feeling to the map. However making elevation on large maps is super time consuming. For instance, making a nice map with hight differences starting from 2 instead of 1. Where hills and landscape go above and below but also allows for nice rivers which are a bit lowered.
Why cant we set the entire map height at once? Like, we make a new map and set the map to 1 specifiq texture. It would be nice to also be able to add 1 specifiq elevation level to it.
Maybe increase brushsize to atleast 15*15?
When making height differences the difference is shown on the minimap with a slight shadow. Maybe allow that to be increased or decreased so its easier to see what has already been changed or not?
On small maps none of these things are problems. The thing is that usually level designers dont make small maps so its a hazzle which in my oppinion it shouldnt be.
