Hey, considering that the Slinger plays an important role in South American Civs, I think it should have an elite upgrade in Imperial Age. What do you think?
Also, which improvements might it have? More HP? More range? Better armor? Better ROF? And how much?
I don’t think it’s really necessary. Of the three generic trash units, the only one that really needs its imperial-age upgrade are halberdiers (hussar upgrade is arguably the least important upgrade for light cav, and skirms usually don’t have their imp upgrade)
If they did add an elite upgrade, it would likely be a minor effect, and maybe come with some nerfs to the castle age version.
Elite Slinger would just get more bonus against infantry and monks and maybe +5 HP.
Maybe it could be exclusive to one civ, like Imperial Camels to Hindustanis?
Slingers can just passively scale with having high food cost and bonus vs infantry.
Though they should get more Bonus vs Infantry anyways.
