I want the Japanese civilization to strengthen the guns or increase the number of ninjas.
It is strange that Japan, which had the most guns in the world, is not specialized in guns

This is medieval Japan before the arrival of guns. It wasn’t until Europeans began trading with the Japanese there was a wide use of guns. Many people in the medieval ages had no idea of the existence of Japan for a very long time. Add the fact that most people in history were illiterate.
Maps of the world during the medieval ages were not very detailed. The average person has no idea what the world looked like. They probably would have struggle to even know what their own countries looked like.
Some of the world’s first maps were very crude and frankly ridiculous. This for example is the map Columbus used.

I think that’s more fitting for the Age of Empires 3 setting rather than Age of Empires 2.

1562 war Japan just unify country with canon, until 1592 they just can use gun to korean, but they weak about bombar canon. Viet+ China use canon from 1400 almost earlier in the world but they don’t have gun :)))). Trust me it ok man, japan get canon is OK better 2 of other east Asia country I said above

how so? The Japanese invasion of Korea which had a lot of gunners was in 1592 and the game features of the battles.

Im all for them having guns!
Those are way at the tail end of the period covered in the game. Year-wise they are the scenarios that happen the lattest.
Japan just completely overshadowing Europe in guns is more of a thing that happened in Age of Empires 3 time period.
