  • Issue: During startup, or whenever i try to look at mods (available), this error keeps popping up.

Trigger Event:

Opening the game/looking at mods options in-game.

t’s a just purchased, freshly installed game. No mods installed, no mods downloaded, no mods folder.
When i start the game, this is the first thing i see. When dismissing it, it comes right back a second time. After dismissing that, it stays gone untill i open the mods window, then it’s there again.
I don’t see any mods available either.

Repro Steps:

1- start the game, error pops up.
2- open modds window in-game, error pops up
3- deleted mods folder (documents/my games/ Age of Empires IV).
4- verified game integrity using Steam (where i purchased it).
5- repeat previous steps.

Same issue here, looks like a server issue. First occured yesterday.

Thank you to those who reported the issues with mods not downloading or working as expected; this has now been fixed!
