In fact, evidence of AI usage has already been presented — and plenty of it — in the previous topics. Just look, for example, at the image of the ski god Freyr: the mountain’s shadow is cast to one side, while the character’s shadow is cast to the other. Typical AI errors.
Also, when there are two bracelets on each arm and they are supposed to be identical, AI often fails to draw them the same, so it ends up altering the pattern. One of the biggest examples of this was the portrait of the god Helios, where the reins led nowhere and the patterns on the horses’ armor changed for no apparent reason from one horse to another.
One of the horses, in fact, doesn’t even have reins.

For the hestia portrait specifically, there is actually some evidence it wasn’t AI. There was a recent reddit AMA with one of the concept artists for the demeter expansion. The artist claims that they were the one who made the hestia portrait and said that capture age didn’t go near AI during their time working with them.
Why is this AI argument still a thing? The devs used AI for the beta portraits and under such extensive backlash (and perhaps justifiably) ALL portraits were reworked will real artists. This much is known. I see no reason why they would now use AI. Just because Hestia wasn’t liked as a portrait doesn’t mean its AI - no-one has brought up AI in the use of portraits for both the Chinese and Japanese, but now Hestia isn’t “s*xy” enough, all of a sudden its because of AI?
As I and others have said, its a bit creepy that some folk are getting so hung up that artistic drawings of god’s for a computer game aren’t s*xy. Hestia’s portrait was most likely done by a legit artist doing their work and I for one praise them for all their designs. They’re doing a great job.
You don’t know how companies operate then. The fact that they got backlash the first time around only means they must do better AI images now

Ai generated art (if you would even call it art) is severly frowned upon and companies that rely on it recieve huge backlash and recieve less money then they spend. People want art and content created by genuine human beings, not ai slop churned out by a computer
Not to mention a lot of the old images for the goddesses and titanesses whore very skimpy clothing in the old game and I very much appreciate how they toned back the sex appeal for all the women in Retold. With that out of the way, I like Hestia’s protral in the game. Hestia in general is portrayed often as a tomboy or as a non-tradtional women. She was very down to Earth compared to her brothers and sisters as she essentialy lived amongst the mortals if she was one herself. She even remained a vergin for all eternity.
I think this more of a continuity error or a design oversight, rather an error created by Ai. Human artists make mistakes and aren’t perfect either. Since the devs are very viligiant on what the community’s thoughts and opinion, if we were more vocal on this error in particular it’ll most likely be fixed, but the error itself is so miniscule that its not noticable or distracting.
too old definitely not mate. but too conservative/prude for sure. cause look at metal covers of the 80s or some female art/designs of games from the 90s. it was already there before AI maybe you just lived in another universe. (its even in painted animes and i am not talking about the adult stuff.)
also why is it so wrong for you that a gods/godesses are attractive/sexy? i personally would rather like to see some sexy/pretty, aesthetically pleasing art - whatever kind of tools used - than seeing all these sexualised models in ads, athlets in sport and “influencers” on social media.
fantasy should serve for imagination, exploration and fullfilling fantasies, mythology is overall fantasy. so can we skip such discussions or did you just wanted to point out that you don’t like art and fantasy? then you are maybe at the wrong place.

really? lets stay objective - which is hard for you, i know… (and even sometimes for me) but objectively this “slop” are more constructive ideas and feedback and therefore a better contribution to this forum then your repetitive sentences with literally nothing to it then just frustrated, raging hate towards AI. nothing constructive, interesting, useful, creative or helpful about it. just simple sentences with just hate towards AI and not even contributing towards the game.

Alternatively: I have genuine reasons to despise this technology, and you refuse to see them as valid because this technology is convenient specifically to you.
People hated art theft before GenAI, people hate GenAI because it is literal art theft, and people will continue hating GenAI and art theft.

As I said on a previous post, not to be political or anything, but the US Supreme Court just issued a bill that prevents copyright of ai generated images/art and they must be man made in order to recieve it. Literally the law says ai generated slop is not real art lol

nothing surprising and i don’t understand the contribution and why this has to be a topic in a gaming forum where its about a game and not ethnic or politcal topics.
