Currently and for some time Ethiopia has been able to construct their Mountain Monasteries on their opponents mines free of counter-play. As you know it prevents opponents from mining, which is seriously unfair (you can’t even destroy the building until after treaty). Japan isn’t allowed to construct shrines outside of their treaty circle so Ethiopia should not be allowed to construct past their half of the map.

Yeah, I dont get why they can if they can mine with villagers. Neither for influence as they can build them out of mines
