Game starts in postindustrial when playing empire wars ranked mode

Only really happened once. But i also only have a small sample size of around 20-30 ew quicksearch matches and after patch i have below 5…

Maybe you are using a filter or selecting a specific region?

I am sorry, i dont understand. I am using the ranked quicksearch Empire wars feature in AOE 3: DE. There is not much you can choose i think?

Ah my bad, I thought we were talking about a second bug in the last comment.

Okay let me know if this happens to you again please! I will pay attention in the next days, lets see if I can find some reproduction steps

Is there any chance you played a skirmish game set to death match or another starting age prior to playing EW?

That could ve been the case, i do play Deathmatch frequently. Cant remember the order of games played on that Day though (i mean i would check, if every replay would be saved, but that s an other story)
