I’ve been looking without results but is there any list with all the standard explorer names for each civ in the game?
In the original the standards were: Francis Drake, Jacques Cartier, Christopher Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan, Peter Minuit. Vitus Bering, Piri Reis, and Alexander von Humboldt.
After vanilla, all names were randomized for both AI and for when creating a new home city. The European explorers have a random first name and random last name. No idea if there is a list of all of those random names - I never could find it.
One thing is clear: A large number of those random names are inspired by actual historical figures and explorers. The French are full of them.

I know that Warchiefs have a list of very specific possible names, but Monks and Explorers are randomized I think.
