I have bought the cosmetics collection pack and the outfits are still locked

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- buy pack
- try to select new skin

Did you buy the cosmetics from within the game itself?
I did that and I had the same problem on the Microsoft store version, so here’s what I did to fix it.
It turns out the explorer cosmetic pack is actually classified as a separate DLC that you need to install. Just download the pack through the Microsoft store app or the Xbox app and you will be able to select the new skins in the game.
That did it, thank you! What a weird way to do it.
