So, this is a long running issue for some players, without a known fix yet. Known Issue: Trouble Signing In to Multiplayer Servers
Some people reported having success on solving it moving/reinstalling the game to a different driver. A friend of mine had the issue solved installing the game on a different Windows version on their PC.
