I’ve been under the impression that Hindustani Hussars are still OK-ish. I haven’t found the full tech tree published anywhere so I’ve been under the assumption that they’re getting Plate Barding Armor back since they lost their team bonus. Is that not the case?

OK I checked and they’re getting Plate Barding back. Now I don’t play a lot of 1v1 but for someone who plays mostly Amazon Tunnel this is a complete improvement. Gives their Camels and Hussars +1 melee armour and the same pierce armour which makes them better in melee combat.

The dead strategy is making light cav with +1PA while adding villagers easily (due to discount) to counter crossbows. This is useful on open maps like arabia.
