New PUP live with pathfinding changes

This preview addresses the following issues:

  • Units regrouping after being issued a movement command
  • Units teleporting
  • Villagers getting stuck in a loop trying to reach a resource to gather from
  • Units prioritizing farms over other units/buildings when retargeting
  • Units on stand ground not always automatically attacking units within their range. Units will now correctly re-target units within range without a direct order.

But now stand ground is bugged.

Have you tested it or heard from Hera? From Hera’s description it sounds like ctrl click should solve the issue.

Anyways it’s still better than having regroup.

I did as soon as I got the time.

If you command your units to target an enemy unit while in stand ground stance, they start hitting an enemy if the enemy unit is in the way instead of chasing the target.

I found this as well. Fortunately ctrl right click still works.

yea way better

the pathing and vills getting stuck on resoruce, or even just walking from ponit A to B with almost nothing inb etween and they’d just randomly stop

anything is probably better than the garbage we had for about 2 months lmao

that’s fine. probably its prioritizing “stand ground” stance over the right click.

They never behave like this before though. In fact stand ground stance is used specifically to target weak units without being distracted. Didn’t get the time to check ctrl+click yet.

not sure about range units not behaving like this but melee certainly did and I think they gave up on fixing that. melee units would go after closest target rather than ones u manually targeted so they just add a ctrl + right click as a workaround

im guessing thats applying to ranged ones as well now? to keep it consistent maybe
