First time I saw Age Of Empires 2 was when I was a little child. My father was the one who let me play it first, and I got stuck to it for many years. Lan partys with my brothers and cousin all night long. Its the best game that ever created if you ask me, its fun even today.
Hope the new AOE will be more awsome so I can play with my father and brothers like the old days

My father bought the game when I was in elementary school. Think he got it at Media Play (oh Media Play… the nostalgia factor is real with that one) I remember playing the game at his apartment and either later that day or maybe the next day telling my older sister all about it and how cool it was and how I couldn’t wait to show her the game.
Oh man, countless nights after that were spent with me either playing solo or my father would set up a mini LAN party for the three of us. We had three computers and it would be my father, my sister and myself. I was the youngest and the worst and would always lose first lol. We either played AoE or Starcraft (another game I’m super excited for the remaster of). Good times
Also, I think my father is just as excited for the Definitive Edition as I am. He still plays AoE. :# :#

I think allot of us younger players was introduced to this game by our fathers or bigger bro

My father introduced me into RTS after seeing him fail a misión at AOE II XD

So long time ago now ^^
I was 4 maybe 5 years old when my uncle introduced me to this game at a family dinner since I was bored af.
I was instantly hooked! 
Played it every day before and after school since that day. Then after a few years it fell off… But I still get excited every time I hear about Age of Empires.
I got AOE from my late grandfather wayyy back in the day. No internet connection at the time, just me and AOE. Oh, those were simpler times. I miss them, so, so much. When I heard MS was remastering AOE…I could not contain my excitement. I hope this game is as well done as it was back then and I really hope I can be of some small use in it’s creation 
In the year 1997 when it was released to the public first time. I still own the original box, a collectors item by now for sure.
