[FIXED] Mod bug - Overriding files with PNG files not working

Issue:

I have a mod that replaces the portraits of the gods with anime-style versions using PNG images. Up until now, it worked perfectly.

In the notes for the most recent patch, the developers stated:
“The changes to load DDS files for the UI should not impact existing UI mods. Overriding files with PNG files should still function as expected.”

However, after the update, the mod only works if the PNG files are renamed or converted to DDS format. Unfortunately, using DDS causes a major inconvenience: the mod is no longer compatible with multiplayer games or the daily celestial challenge.

Update: This issue has been fixed in the latest patch; all portraits can now be correctly replaced using PNG!

Update: the base portraits still work as PNG files, but the legacy and alt portraits only work if you use the DDS format.
