Formula for Rating

I think other people have been calling for this for a while now, but the formula which calculates rating gains/losses really needs to be revised. It’s bad enough that you can get matched up with someone 600 elo lower, but the worst part about it is that as the higher rated player, you’re effectively losing 20 minutes of your time. Since if you win (which is likely the case) you end up gaining 0 points. While if you lose to a bug/disconnect/whatever, you end up losing 30 points. At least make the minimum gain +1.

Team games don’t really make sense either with people losing and gaining different amounts because it’s your rating vs the highest rated player on the other teams rating which is the only thing taken into consideration which ends up leading to a lot more inflation than what could normally be expected.
