The issue was also replicated on another machine running Debian GNU/Linux bullseye/stable.

Framerate drops heavily and instantly and game becomes chunky when spectating a game and nothing is selected. As soon as something is selected again, the game becomes smooth.

  • 100% of the time / matches I spec (ALWAYS)

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Spec a game
  2. Clear selection

Game stays smooth.
