FRAMES HAVE 3 LAYERS?

Hi everyone :slight_smile:

So i was trying to mod a few frames, i chose the image that i wanted to change and photoshoped it, replaced it in the group and recompressed it. But got strange results.

So next i tried extracting the individual frames from the .smx files into the . slx, that’s when i saw that each image/frame is made up of 3 layers:

Does anyone know how to do it? Let’s say i just wanted to change the height of the palisade wall… what role do the other layers play?

Also do i have to use a pink background on my new image? Does the program read it as “transparent”?
