So do you just leave the game when you see HOL or Templar? lol.
Pretty sure templar is an alright match up if not a good one.

As a french main, I have a positive winrate vs templars, but lancaster is really scary. I’ve started playing abbasid so I can beat them with 3 TC boom. (it’s worked so far for me vs both lancaster and templar)
I see HoL as a way to learn how to defeat a difficult opponent regardless of skill. It’s so common on the ladder that I’ve got to figure it out at some point.
In a way, it’s forced me into a more aggressive play style that demands feudal all ins. I don’t like being pigeonholed into a strategy, but I can appreciate practicing something I rarely go for. (I like booming and teching much more
