Friends unable to join scenarios online

  • Build Number: errr up to date as of 9/2

  • Platform: Steam

  • Operating System: Windows 11

Issue:

Using either self created or mod store downloaded scenario maps, friends are unable to join the game. reject is “game is full or already started”. Note, after invitation was failed or the scenario switched/reselected, all available slots then closed.

Trigger Event:

attempting to join game via in-game invitation.

Repro Steps:

  1. able to be reproduced with multiple different friends and maps.
  2. process used to start game - host, game type scenario, select map, etc.
  3. Happens to all players involved regardless who hosts.

No problems with normal algorithmically generated maps.
May test to see with “3v3 Chokepoint Huge” or 2v2 variant on Mod page.
