Game closes when returning from computer hibernation

Issue:

If I hibernate my computer with the game running it will not be open when I turn my computer back on. This happens 100% of the time. No other game in the franchise does this. It has been doing this since I bought the game.

Trigger Event:

I hibernated my computer.

Repro Steps:

  1. Hibernate computer
  2. Turn it back on. The game will not be open or close immediately.
  3. Happens 100% of the time.
