Today, me and all my friends decided to buy the Age of Empires definitive bundle, the problem comes after the installation. I started the game normally and after a few seconds waiting on the loading screen, the game closes and crash message appears. The crash windows with green borders appears saying the following: “Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition encountered a problem”. According to Microsoft store my PC is compatible with the game

Sorry dude, i’m guessing you have already try updating you graphic drives and all the methods the official forum suggest. What i did was that my antivirus was blocking so check the blocked apps and uncheck any file related to AOE2DE
Guess it’s not the same issue you were experiencing… I tried opening the game with a friends XBOX account and it worked, something is not working with my xbox gamepass acc idk how to fix this shit
