Game crashes when launching. Can’t get past the splash screen.

Similar problems seemed to appear before but those fixes are all not working.

I have tried updating visual c++, reinstall and verify the game, deleting all mods and user profiles, deleting the aoe url helper, restarting my pc, updating all drivers and updates. No I don’t have sonic studio installed.

:arrow_forward: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Suddenly happens every time I try to even boot up the game. Was working fine before.

with this could you please contact our Support team https://support.ageofempires.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so we can investigate what is happening. Please include your DxDiag and logs . Steps to find those are here: https://support.ageofempires.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052783111-How-to-find-information-for-troubleshooting-with-Support¨.
And please add also you mdmp file, that should generate with the crash, they can be found in “C:\Users\USER\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\logs” will have date-time format, something like “AoE2DESteam-51577-2021.10.07-10.11.24.mdmp”, it should be at end of the folder. :slight_smile:
