Issue:

(Game crashes when selecting map in multiplayer)

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Setup lobby in multiplayer (ie host a game)
  2. Press “Coastal” button to enter map screen
  3. Change the settings (eg select the “Land” checkbox)
  4. Click apply
  5. Game crashes to desktop

I have the same issue!

Game Version: AOE II DE, no mods

Issue:

Whenever I am the host of a multiplayer lobby and try to select a map or map pool, the game crashes when I hit the APPLY button in the choose your map screen. If I choose to not enter the map select screen, it allows me to launch the game, but then I can only play the default map (Coastal). Other friends who have hosted lobbies with me in it have been able to choose maps with no issue.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Go to Multiplayer
  2. Host a lobby
  3. Click on the map to open map select screen
  4. Select a map or pool
  5. Click apply

I am running Windows 10, Home 64-bit with the following specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 1400
PRIME B350 PLUS Motherboard
16 GR DDR4 RAM
GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
