Issue:
Just installed the game and I have a similar issue.
When i click on “Play”, game acts as it is lauching (button goes to “Stop”) and then back to “Play”.
Nothing happens, impossible to launch.
I also tried :
- Uninstalling all C++ redists, before reinstalling both x64 and x84
- updating graphical drivers
- manually checking for updates via Windows update
- ruled out any other programs interfering with the launch (0 progams running on my PC)
- running as administrator
- repairing C++
- checked DX version and my hardware compatibilities
- Checked event viewer (nothing there)
- disabled Windows 10 “test mode” (saw this on Reddit as a potential fix)
- disabled steam cloud
- Every other fix listed on the known issues page, Steam forums, these forums, Discord and Reddit.
Hey devs, please help, I really do wanna play the game !
