# Game freezes midgame

- **PLATFORM:** Steam
- **OS:** Windows 10

### ▶ ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Game freezes midgame. Can’t click anything or scroll the map. If I click, Windows tells me the program is not responding and asks if I want to shut it down. RAM usage was at ~75% (of 16 GB), CPU was at 40%ish.

Specs:  
Mainboard: Gigabyte Z97MX-Gaming 5  
CPU: i7-4790K  
RAM: 16GB DDR3 CL9-9-9-24 at 1600 MHz  
GPU: RTX 2070  
Storage: SSD

Don’t know how to reproduce. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it does not. So far it has happened 2x in 3 MP games. Also happened in the Bolivar mission of the campaign when I reached the final fort.

its a known bug for months already and it only happens when someone is getting defeated in team games

Makes sense cause that’s usually when it happened. The term “midgame” might be a bit misleading here.
