Im having the same issues… internets fine, all other apps work, adding to firewall does nothing, turning firewall off does nothing.

After over an hour of messing about, trying various stuff, allowing this that an the other, updating XYZ, ive found the solution.

Uninstall, then request a refund.

I’m getting offfline or not signed in to PlayStation network mesage. My internet is fine.

geez what a sheetshow it was to lo login to this site. Anyway I think I have fix for this, mine issue was something corrupted in the user files.

I did the following, I’m not sure if disabling cloud sync would have been enough but you can try that first without the following deletions.

So I had to delete these (take copy of the whole folder before you start deleting stuff):

My Games\Age of Empires IV\Cache
My Games\Age of Empires IV\network
My Games\Age of Empires IV\playback

also

My Games\Age of Empires IV\Users\numbers\cloud
My Games\Age of Empires IV\Users\numbers\datastore\cloud
My Games\Age of Empires IV\Users\numbers\configuration_user.lua

After this you need to disable cloud syncing from steam and then start the game.

you can try without deleting that configuration_user.lua file since I believe it will delete some settings.

Afterwards when you have newer data locally, I think you can return the cloud sync and it should push your stuff to cloud (have not done that yet)

GUYS IT WORKS NOW! (at least for me)

(I didn’t do anything so I think the devs fixed it)

Because the Age of Empires 4 servers can no longer cope, I think the official should increase resource support for AOE4. Moreover, it’s still a new season DLC release now.

Same here in Frankfurt, Germany. Level 200 player, issue started right after getting the new DLC. Reinstalled everything, firewall is fine, but the game stays offline with a black notification panel. Please fix this server-side issue

Well, here in South America, the usual solution I use in PC is simply to close the program (AoE4), and after a minute, restart it. That should restore connectivity.

But yes, this reconnection error is happening very frequently,

I suspect the network cable of some of the Server PCs, those that control Multiplayer matches and achievements, is broken or in a bad state.
