My PC is an MSI Creator M16 with an RTX 2070 where I play with the highest graphics settings. I just started a Crossroads random map against the AI and right off the bat, performance is super low. In the videos you can see that I at the very beginning average 11 FPS, and by the 7th villager all of the sudden performance hit is gone and I start seeing 50 FPS.

I have no clear path towards reproducing this issue. All I can tell you is that most of the time, the issue goes away in a couple of minutes, with rare occassions where the issue persists during most of the game.

Average 50FPS in my PC during the course of the game.
