  • PLATFORM: Steam
  • OS: Windows 10

Before I update the game I have 20 gb left on my drive, as I update the game on steam it fills that, and doesn’t let me update. Then checking with WINISD it says there’s another folder for AOE3 DE that is 20gb.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Steam updates the game.

:question: *What was supposed to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
Game would update and I would be able to play.

:question: What actually happened (what went wrong) because of the issue you’re reporting?
I can’t update and I have 200 mb left on my ssd

I have this same issue.

This update and hotfix did the same to me! it tripled the space of my SSD and then deleted 17 gigs of data. What the hell is wrong with these developers? i even received a notification in windows 10 saying that windows 10 went into optimization mode. this happened while steam was updating age 3 DE. This is a disaster!
