Gauntlet Mode Power Rewards Override Higher Tier Starting Power

Issue:

Arena of the Gods powers unlocked during Gauntlet mode will override a higher tiered version of the same power selected when you start the gauntlet run. This prevents selecting the higher tiered power you started the run with before any matches for the rest of that gauntlet run.

Trigger Event:

Earning a lower tiered version of a reward such as “Gaia’s Lashing Root” when you have already selected a higher tier version, such as “Heroic Gaia’s Lashing Roots”, to start the gauntlet run.

Repro Steps:

  1. Start a new Gauntlet run and select your starting power. Ex: Heroic Gaia’s Lashing Roots.
  2. Earn a lower tier version of the same power as a match reward. Ex: Gaia’s Lashing Roots.
  3. Higher tiered ability can no longer be selected before a match for the rest of the gauntlet run.
