Don’t know. If they save it up for a few more months they get a big reveal at the E3, which typically gets more press coverage.
On the other hand, in a bit of a not quite fully triple A genre like RTS it can help to not try to compete for the main spotlight and take a small step aside voluntarily.
Eventually we will all be playing AoE4. If they eff it up, we will let them know. I hope they don’t talk about it until they are certain they have nailed it. No rush.

They might not show off a playable alpha, but you know, maybe they’ll do a setting reveal?
