I am sure many of Age of Empires players are history enthusiasts too and are aware of the Alexander Dumas’s semi-Biographical work on his father’s life, The Count of Monte Christo. His father general Thomas Alexendere Dumas was born in french colony of Haiti, and was his strategist in many Napoleonic wars of Africa and Europe. Napoleonic wars, and Haiti’s independence struggle after that are great plots for campaigns in AOE3’s colonial settings. After independence Haitian republic gave asylum to the South American freedom fighter Bolivar when he was exiled. So, a more detailed and fleshed out south American independence from Spain and Portuguese rule can also be made into a campaign. Any thoughts?
