Would you like to see some units from all the other AoE games for a different game mode just for fun (for example wololo converters, age 1 soldiers, AoM soldiers/Titans, etc)?
nice options here, but i DO miss the no option regarding the soundtrack. I wouldnt want age 4 to have any of the previous ones apart from the main theme
The very good news is that the soundtracks for the Age of Empires 4 were written by the person who wrote the soundtracks for the Witcher 3 game. Personally, I really liked the soundtracks from The Witcher 3. Therefore, I believe that the musical component of AoE4 will be at its best (I already want to play it at least because of the soundtracks)
Those people who played The Witcher 3 probably remember those awesome soundtracks (especially the one that sounded on Skellig). If something similar happens in the Age of Empires 4, then it will be just a BUZZ FOR THE EARS!
It will be a great addition. I was also surprised about that selection, I think that was best decision ever, music from Witcher 3 or GoW are amazing in my opinion and they picked witcher 3 composer, and if hes a fan of the AoE saga I am completely sure he will do a great job!
When they released DoW 3, fans complained about the same and the cartoony graphics, I just realized yesterday. Hope they can do major changes on time to avoid having a failure again. (talking about Relic)
The questions imply that we live in a world where my favorite game is either AoE2 or AoE3. There’s literally five games in this franchise, and two of them are better in my mind than either of those.
Could they make unit scaling an option that the user can set to his/her liking (within a reasonable range, of course)? Maybe it’s just my practically 20/20 vision, but I’ve never liked the cartoonish proportions of many games, though I understand how they might throw off a less hawk-eyed person. For me at least, more realistically-proportioned units (and buildings) would really help the immersion!
they probably wont themselves, since it could lead to an advantage in competative games for example if you have a larger monitor and therefore can see more clearly with big units than with small monitor.
Like in AoE3 I guess.
You can only build 7 towers and 3 Town Centres.
You can ship home city cards to increase the limit but you can’t remove it.
But the building limits were basically just a replacement for Stone. Because without having this rare resource limiting how much you can build if would have been to easy to spam towers in AoE3.
But AoE4 has stone again so I don’t think this limit is needed.
