Genie editor question, how to only modify a scenario with genie editor?

I’m trying to use Genie editor but it seem that the software is to modify the entire game and not just one scenario…

Is it possbiel to just modify one scenario only with genie or is it just impossible ?

AGE does make mods that change the entire game, but depending on what you’re trying to do it may be possible to accomplish it through the scenario editor. You can use data mods though and select the mod you want to use for a given level, so you could make a datamod to be used with just one level.

How exactly, I didn’t find any tutorial that explain this precisely…

Here, a tutorial that explains how to use triggers precisely

Also, questions are always welcome here. I have asked many times here and in other places and have received lots of help

For the question I ask on the steam page of the game itself ?

Ask here. What exactly do you need? The blast width of the hero? How does your trigger looks like?

I want to know how can I edit a scenario with genie editor or at least make the dat file applying to one scenario

As TheConqueror said, that’s not possible. You need to use triggers if you want to modify unit stats in a single scenario

Ok so, I want the hero Dafyyd to do area damage however blast width and druzhina has no effect on him even if it’s an infantry hero…

Tried to do it myself. Turns out, some of the attributes get applied only to units created AFTER the attribute is set. In this case, I had to modify the attribute blast width and then create a Dafyyd unit and it worked flawlessly

Edit: maybe it will work for the other attributes you are trying to modify

I do indeed notice the same thing as you do, if the unit is created after the attribute is applied it will indeed work, I also notice that the farmer workrate also experience the same “issue” you need to get your farmer after the attribute is created
