Half cost for all military units

Hello, just for fun and imaginery, how could change the gameplay if military units would cost half of nowdays cost?
Just military, this is, vils, techs, gathering rates, civ bonuses wouls remain the same.
Could this change the nowdays eco/military proportion (approx 125 vils 75 military units) for another with less eco needed and more populated battles without conpormise the rendiment?

This would be inherent good? Any unit could be the big “winner” with a change like this?

I thinking mainly in ranked game settings, this mean pop cap of 200

It means rushing will be much more effective. Aging will be much more punishing.

Also, pop effective units will become more relevant

I’d imagine scout rushing would dominate, because scout production is currently often limited by food.
But on the other hand, maybe 3 ranges archers 1 barrack spears would become a good counter to that.

Certainly you’d see more drushes. Every civ could do a 5 militia drush. I think pre-mill barracks would become the meta.
