Haudenosaunee: Looking Forward

i agree kinda with this argumentation in terms of Lakota. But even for them its not categorically a one civ pony. Surely Lakota comes close to this arugment but still you can play age2, age3 and kinda age4. Even tho i agree for the competitive focus the game should make more strategys for Lakota viable. On the other side this will prolly turns lakota into the mood where they was some patches ago. Jsut a high mobility cav which can beat every other civ in good terms. Unfortunately DE just does not gives advantage if you play such civilisations like Lakota.

For Haudenosaunee i strongly disagree - The Civ can play superior age2, age3 and age4. Of course its not a Ottoman Civilisation but for example Haude on a Water Map is surely a S-Tier Civilisation. Also yeh Haude has a low pick rate but its not a civilisation where oyu can just right click with a Z-Move and thats it. It requires skill and experience which is something where we should focus more on.

From a balance standpoint, starting with a longhouse as you suggested would make an Age 2 strong civ, that drops off massively and then has to turtle.

It probably would be unpushable, which no, for a balance sake rushes are already far to often penalised hence why a lot of native civs in the first place are in supremacy in the gutter to a degree.

1000 wood for an ressource boost aura and 4 x to get to the 200 pop limit will not be able to compete with any eruopean civ at all after age 3-4.

Whilest looking good on paper it is a bad suggestion in practice.
