In the list of preset skirmishes, the placard for Battle of the Valley reads “3X3”, “Standard”, and “Haunted Gulch”.
“Haunted Gulch” does not show as a map type or as a terrain type.
And when you actually click on Battle of the Valley, its map type shows as Mountain Pass and its biome shows as Asian Temperate.
I’d LOVE to see/play in Haunted Gulch, but the option is either hidden or doesn’t (seem to) exist, and the preset Battle of the Valley apparently doesn’t involve it. A typo/vestige? Or is the place in there somewhere?
