As the title states: 23 days without playing ranked. Lost 40 elo pts. Is that common?

Yes. It is by design. It will make your next match a little easier and I believe the ‘lost’ points are automatically restored after that first game regardless of outcome.

Thanks for the reply. Doesn’t seem to be the case for the ‘restored’ points. After 2 ranked games this evening, the deficit remains.
