This is a dummy account I made in order to post here that my original account is somehow locked out of the forum and I could use some help.
I am trying to access the forum via my microsoft account (I bought the game in the microsoft store with that account), however when I provide my account credentials, instead of letting me in the site says: “Your account is awaiting activation, use the forgot password link to issue another activation email.”. After contacting microsoft support I have made sure the issue is not on their end and found the said activation email in my junk folder, but it no longer works (“Sorry, this account confirmation link is no longer valid. Perhaps your account is already active?”) which is fine since it is almost a month old. But then how do I activate my account. Also, there was never a “forgot password” option.
