I see some people have this lag issue. I had it also awhile back. I tried everything to fix it and was rdy to dump the game. Then I noticed my web browser had a lot of functions running in my task manager even though I had closed it.
Once I took the end task to all of them before I played the problem disappeared.
They will spontaneously reappear from time to time so don’t take it for granted. I use Microsoft edge
