I’m not sure if this is a bug or a intended feature so I will ask here.
Aztec’s “High Priest of Ixtlilton” card provides access to Noble Hut and Jaguar Prowl Knight unit in Age II. However even after card is shipped, “Aztec Raiding Party” and “Aztec War Party” Town Center big buttons are still unavailable until Age III.

Shouldn’t they be available in Commerce Age? They delivers JPKs which are now available in Age II. These BBs are very expensive so it shouldn’t be a balance issue but they can potentially unlock some new Aztec strategies.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Play any game as Aztec civ
  2. Send “High Priest of Ixtilton” card
  3. Age-up to Age II
  4. Try to use “Aztec Raiding Party” or “Aztec War Party” big buttons but they are still are unavailable until Age III

All 3 Jaguar Prowl Knights big buttons are available in Age II if “High Priest of Ixtilton” is sent

Its normal, Raiding Party and War Party is always locked to their respective age, its not about the unit.

You could send the scouting party even without the high priest card to get JPK in age 2
