Hope you value Japanese players and divide Japan into 68 Warring States powers

If it is reasonable for the Three Kingdoms to exist as independent forces, then it is obviously unreasonable not to separate the Warring States forces of Japan, even if this is only for commercial considerations.

Objection, you are discriminating against England’s Heptarchy, France’s Dukes’ War, Spain’s Reconquista, Poland’s Polish Civil War, Russia’s Kievan Rus’ Principalities

Make Brazil a civ and then other 26 civs from it, one for each state

I Japanese player hope that Japanese remains just a civ. That’s simple.

Since Portuguese is already in the game, let’s make each of it’s colonies a new civ, notably Portuguese India. At least they’re already in campaign.

What exactly is Dark Age Portuguese India supposed to represent? Go ask them what Dark Age Shu Han representing.

That’s never going to happen, the Sengoku period was in the Renaissance, and AoE2 is a medieval game, it just wouldn’t fit.

That’s why instead they should do a Spanish split featuring Lusitanians, Numantines, Arevaci, Cantabrians, Tartessians, Saguntines, Sertorian Spanish, New Carthaginian Spanish, and Roman Hispania. That’s way more medieval.

That’s the problem, they didn’t hire you as a historical consultant, so we now have the Three Kingdoms DLC.

What would happen is gonna be 1 Japanese civ + 68 warring states

Another idea is to add more Goths, the current one is to Visigothic so we need the Ostro one too, and also 1 extra Goths for every Gothic King and tribes

While we’re at it, can we add The Emos and The Punks as well?

Sorry they have to split up the HRE into every single Dutch first.

Jokes aside.
3 is a much smaller number then 68 obviously.
Also China is a much larger country then Japan in the first place.
Also Romans, Sicilians and Italians already coexist.
