“Select all idle villagers” Hotkey doesn’t work for the hotkey: “Alt” + “Space bar”

:play_button: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

It used to work for me for years, and today 11 april 2026 it stopped working

:play_button: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Go to options in game

  2. Options - Hotkeys - Game commands

  3. Go to “Select all idle villagers hotkey”

  4. Change that hotkey to a combination of two keys: “Alt” + “Space bar”

:play_button: EXPECTED RESULT

If you have more at least one idle villager, and you press “Alt”+“Space bar” the game should select all idle villagers

Important distinction: This hotkey is different than the “go to idle villager”, which sends your screen towards one particular idle villager and it cycles around all of them moving the screen. As far as i know, this “go to idle village” has no issues.

@DavidRasie hi! Strange issue indeed, I can’t repro and I’m able to select all idle villagers with alt+space. Do you have this exact hotkey in use for an external application? Any mod that could interfere with it? Thanks for the report.

Hi! thanks for answering, my sincere apologies for my very delayed answer!

I don’t have the alt+space for anything external. Recently I disabled all mods and tried the alt+space bar and it worked! thanks, I don’t really know why a mod can interfere with that but apparently it did. Thank you very much!
