Hotkey Suggestion: Select same unit types

Double clicking units in this game is hard especially when they are moving around.

  • Select one or more units
  • Press the hotkey
  • All units of the same type within your viewport is now selected

This is particularly nice if you are trying to shift + double clicking multiple unit types. Currently if you miss any of the left clicks you will deselect any of your currently selected units

You can achieve exactly this effect with AutoHotkey.

Yeah, Rise of Nations have what you propose and it’s extremely useful.
