It would be nice if there was hotkey you could hold while building to align buildings with the global grid. It bothers me when I try to build some farms around an old granary and the farms are fighting between aligning to their normal global grid placement and aligning to the side of the granary. If the building was aligned from the get go, then this wouldn’t be an (admittedly very minor) issue.
