I played as Hausa, won and my opponent said is pay to win and more broken than sweden lol XD
The Javelin Raider, in conjunction with Griots and fulanis is kinda OP
The Lifidi are amazing also
Both are probably s tier, Hausa because of livestock maps and javs and Ethiopia because of livestock maps and the mortar shipment, better than Sweden and japan? I don’t think either of them are better tHan Sweden or japan.
Neither civ seemed overpowered. I’ll have play more though

Livestock surprisingly don’t have as much impact as you might think since you don’t have stockyards or fulling mills (and cattle costs coin).
They’re more for sitting around (for influence)and selling for occasional bursts of wood and coin.
